We had a fantastic learning experience at the Egyptian Museum. Our docent was engaging, entertaining, and most important knowledgeable. The museum is filled with ancient artifacts that have been excavated from areas of Egypt. In our studies, we came to a deeper awareness of how much we needed a savior to deliver us from the false practices and confusion of monotheism. Thank you Lord, for sending us your son Jesus!

AUCTION: It is quickly approaching. Yes, it is this coming weekend! First, let me say my sincere thank you to all who have donated to this year’s auction. Second, we are still in need of desserts and auction items. If you are able to donate a dessert this Friday or Saturday AM, please have your child complete an auction donation form. May the Lord richly bless you for blessing the lives in our school through your donations.

WRITING: All students did a fantastic job with creating a narrative fictional story. Six stories were chosen by outside educators as the finalists to be submitted to High School for 1st, 2nd, 3rd placement. All stories are submitted without names. Class young author writing grades are developed by use of a teacher rubric. Each students story will be published and we will celebrate our Young Authors as a class this Friday!

Congratulations to our Young Author finalists: 6th graders:  Will Henderson, Brittany McCann, Sydney Saville  5th graders:  Isaac Hwang, Kennedy Robles, Mark Pimentel.
