Lang. Arts: Reading Groups
Writing: We are writing letters in class to our friends. Each letter needs a Heading (date), Greeting, Body, Closing, and a Signature.
Science: Some students will be planting another seed.
Social Studies: We begin a new Unit on using our resources.

We will be celebrating fall with some fun fall activities and yummy food.
I will be sending you a  sign up sheet soon.
After a lot of thought and prayer, as well as counsel from other teachers, we will not be taking a field trip to the pumpkin patch. I have been looking into alternative trips that better reflect our 2nd grade curriculum and are still a ton of fun! Please stay turned for further details:)

We will be having some fun WITH pumpkins during the last week in October: art, science, math, cooking……all with pumpkins. I will need some donated, If you are interested in helping email me. Thanks so much for all your support at home in helping these kids have a fun and fabulous 2nd grade year!!!
